Cherry Orchard will continue to offer extra-curricular School Club sessions in Term 3 to years R – 4.  These activities must be booked termly to give everyone fair opportunity to sample all the different clubs and are on a first come first served basis.  Funds raised allow us to appoint professionals in the fields of sports, music and language to enable our children to access specialist coaching and teaching in these areas.  Club costs are £3 per session starting at 3:15 and finishing at 4:15 pm.

We are delighted to continue offering clubs in Term 3,  reflecting the skill set and interest of our current teaching staff and the availability of our PE Co-Ordinator Mr. Barnard and the curriculum being delivered.   Please see details on the registration form against each activity.

Football Coaching sessions for the School Team will follow the coaching sessions on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:15 until 4:45 for each Key Stage.  You will receive information from Mr. Barnard – our PE Coach.

YV Choir Club in Term 3 will be open only to members of the CHOIR who will continue to practice for an exciting trip to the O2 in January of next year.  Mrs. Stroud has registered Cherry Orchard into the Young Voices 2020 – the largest school concert in the world, where they will sing alongside 7000 other children in London.  Children will be learning over 40 songs and the funds raised from the club will go towards the cost of their coach trip up and back, tickets and other additional expenses.  See website for further details A letter to parents with children in the choir has already been sent out.

We continue to offer the opportunity for parents to book small group and individual music lessons for their children directly with Robert Sellerywho is an established Music Teacher working with schools in the local area.  Please be advised that should these fall within the school day, we will try to arrange these across lunch and break times to minimise time out of class.  Full details of Music Lessons can be downloaded here and you should arrange these by contacting Mr. Sellery directly on
