Registration for Term 6 School Activity Clubs has now opened. For ease of selection and booking, we have created three booking links; one for each of EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Please use the links to view our club offer for each key stage and book your selection. Please ensure the club is something your child is really interested in learning or taking part in.
We hope each key stage offers something for everyone from sports to arts and crafts as well as the return of our Chill n Chat Club which has no particular focus but allows your child to chat with their friends, read or doodle.

Cherry Orchard has resumed the offer of extra-curricular School Club sessions in Years R – 5, as restrictions begin to lift. Activities need to be booked termly, to give everyone a fair opportunity to sample all the different clubs that are on offer and they are on a first come, first served basis. Current restrictions allow for a maximum of 15 in each key stage bubble for indoor activities and 25 for outdoor activities.. Funds raised from our clubs, allows us to appoint specialists in the fields of sports, music and moving forwards language, to enable our children to access specialist coaching and teaching in these areas. Club costs and finishing times vary in each key stage to allow for staggered start/finish times.
We usually offer clubs reflecting the skill set and interest of our current teaching staff and the availability of our PE Co-Ordinator Mr. Barnard and the curriculum being delivered. Please see details on the registration forms against each activity to view our current term offer.
A sample of our past clubs and extra-curricular activities have been:
- Football Coaching
- Handball Coaching
- Tumble Tots
- Netball Club
- Recorder Club
- Mathmagicians Club
- Chill n Chat
- Cooking Club
- Arts & Crafts Club
- Drum Workshop
- Irish Dancing Taster
- Street Dance
- Musical Theatre
Please note all Clubs finish at different times, reflecting the current staggered school pick up times; we politely request that you be prompt to pick up your child through the appropriate exit as notified on your registration form. In usual circumstances, children who are not picked up will be taken to ASP after 5 – 10 minutes and an additional charge may be incurred. During COVID restrictions, this cannot currently take place, so this means the adult will hae to wait with your child after a long school day.
** Lunchtime Clubs: KS1 Multi-Sports (Wednesdays) KS2 Multi-Sports (Thursdays) **
Individual music lessons for children directly with Robert Sellery – who is an established Music Teacher working with schools in the local area – will continue. Please be advised that should these fall within the school day, we will try to arrange these across lunch and break times to minimise time out of class. Full details of Music Lessons can be downloaded here and you should arrange these by contacting Mr. Sellery directly on firstname.lastname@example.org.
